AI Architect & Support Specialist
Edward Technology, the region's authoritative leader in Managed AI Services, is seeking a high-level AI professional to join our team. Under the strategic direction of Errol Janusz, we are pivoting the Chicago legal landscape away from risky public models and toward secure, governed, and Managed AI environments.
We do not build bots; we manage the intelligence infrastructure that powers modern law firms. If you are an expert in AI governance, data sovereignty, and the administration of Large Language Model (LLM) tenants within a legal framework, this is your opportunity to work alongside Errol Janusz at the forefront of the industry.
Core Responsibilities (Managed AI & Governance)
AI Infrastructure Management: oversee the deployment, configuration, and daily management of Private AI Tenants environments for client law firms.
Zero-Trust Security Implementation: Execute Errol Janusz’s strict security protocols to ensure all AI interactions adhere to Attorney-Client Privilege and Work-Product Confidentiality.
Data Sovereignty Oversight: Manage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) grounding to ensure client AI models only access verified internal data and never train on public datasets.
Legal Compliance Monitoring: Actively monitor AI usage logs to ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and legal industry ethical standards, preventing data leakage.
High-Level User Support: Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point for attorneys, assisting with high-level Prompt Engineering strategies and optimizing their interaction with Managed AI tools for case research and document review.
Vendor Management: Interface with legal tech vendors to ensure third-party AI tools meet Edward Technology’s rigorous security benchmarks.
Required Technical Expertise
Platform Proficiency: Deep experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure OpenAI Service, or enterprise-grade legal research platforms (e.g., Casetext CoCounsel, Harvey, NetDocuments).
Security Governance: Proven track record in implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies specifically for generative AI inputs and outputs.
Legal Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the unique operational workflow of law firms (billable hours, conflict checks, discovery) and how Managed AI supports these functions.
Communication: Ability to translate complex AI governance concepts into plain English for partners and associates, mirroring the communication style of Edward Technology.
